My first book was written for David Nash, an ex-professional cricketer and now successful multi-million pound entrepreneur. The book explores how David used everything he learned from sport to build a brilliant business and, at the same time, raise over £20 million for charity.

Bails and Boardrooms

Having interviewed well over twenty global leaders for the project, I co-wrote ‘The Leadership We Need Now’ for the advisory firm RHR. The book focusses on the challenges all leaders are facing today.

My second book was written for David Beeney, a man who turned his battles with mental health into a crusade to help millions of others.

Breaking The Silence

A dear friend, Suki Thompson, died on July 30th 2023. This precious book is based on her very popular podcast series, ‘Reset’. ‘Every Day is a Gift’ is a celebration of the power of connection, insight and inspiration and why every day really is something to treasure. The book was published on July 24th 2025, and all sale proceeds will be going to Macmillan, a charity very close to Suki’s heart.

My youngest daughter is named after Mozart’s wife, Constanze. As part of her 18th birthday present, I wrote a book for her that carries the story of Constanze Mozart. Behind so many of the stories we celebrate are countless women whose own brilliance has been eclipsed. Without Constanze, so much of Mozart’s music might never have survived. Hers is a story of a woman who stood tall in the shadow of greatness, but still left a profound mark on history.

‘As a writer, Garry has an incredible knack of finding the right stories and the right words. He captured everything brilliantly and was a joy to work with.’

‘Bails and Boardrooms is a great read; compelling business insights and some very funny anecdotes. A must-read for anyone interested in the link between sport and business.’

'Such an easy and compelling book. I read ‘Breaking the Silence’ cover to cover in one sitting as I couldn’t put it down.’
